Mark's lower-than-average Charisma is represented by his lack of a filter when it comes to talking.

Shoot, a fella could have a pretty good weekend in Vegas with all that stuff!

Incidentally, kibitzers, recruitment isn't closed. If anyone wants to make a character and join in, you're welcome.

Hee. Unfortunately, the closest I've ever gotten to playing Fallout was informing David that if I had to hear "Ain't That A Kick In The Head" one more time, no jury in the world would convict me for what I would do next.

You don't need to know much. It's the wild west with nukes.

That's the single worst summarization of the Fallout setting I've ever heard. That's less accurate than Fallout 3.

At 3 intelligence, your ability to speak is hampered. 3 is going to be "Tarzan" level. A 2 is grunts and groans - the "caveman speak" seen in earlier Fallout titles. A 1 is completely non-verbal.

3 is the level at which any stat becomes considerably hampered. 4-6 is average, 3 is significantly below average, and 1 is basically crippled.

3 is "poor"
4 is "fair"
5 is "average"
6 is "good"
7 is "very good"
8 is "great"
9 is "excellent"
10 is "heroic"

I cant remember what 1 and 2 are.

I'm guessing it's female genitalia. Though the term is gender neutral here, it is likely not in Fallout-land. Probably.
