Fantasy Game:
I would like to do a Fantasy game based on the AD&D 2ed. rules. While this may seem archaic to some, I know them well and it makes a good framework for me to keep track of stuff. I will handle all dice rolling if it is necessary.

The game would start on an island and would progress from there.

The basic story is that over 1000 years ago the humans expanded their lands and took over a majority of the known world. In their expansion they developed powerful magics and eventually became so powerful that they decided that they no longer needed the deities of their world. The powers that be did not like this and arranged for the downfall of the human empire that was known as the Silver League. They enlisted the aid of a charismatic human leader from a land outside of the Silver League. He eventually befriended the First Lord of the Silver league and then killed him and his entire family. This resulted in a civil war among the member states. The Humans used all of the magic at their disposal destroy one another. The murder took place exactly 1000 years ago at the beginning of this campaign.

I'll go into more detail if I get any players.

OPEN: Looking for players
I am open to anyone that would be a consistent player.

Okay, so a thousand years ago there was an empire that collapsed. But that's enough time for a new civilisation to develop. Are you talking post-apocalyptic, rural civilisation, or large urban areas like Ankh-Morpork? How common is magic - magic carpets on every street corner, or the average person maybe sees one wizard in his lifetime if he's lucky, and that from a distance? This island we start on - are we talking one-palm-tree-and-a-beach, or something the size of Britain? These are important details.

...and may I recommend that further details (such as the answers to these questions) be relegated to a new thread in FRPG?

Moved Jorodryn's game announcement to the game announcement thread (there's also one in FRPG, Jorodryn - you may want to repost there (you'd have to run it there anyway), as there are people that don't check the GRPG boards as much).

GRPG games can only be moderated/run by the GRPG GMs, so you'll have to run your game down in FRPG (don't worry, that's how we all got started. It's pretty much the same thing.)

No worries, was just asking.

CCC as your question I will make a more detailed post in a day or 2. I am going to do it all in Word first and then do a copy and paste so I don''t have to try to do it all here at one time.

Maybe I'll get a better response up here.

So I'm kicking around the idea of running a 1930's era Pulp Adventure RPG. Would anyone be interested?

Now that two of the three new games up here have started, I'm planning on bringing my game (Fated Encounter?!) down in FRPG back online. I have four characters, but I'm willing to go as high as seven characters. If anyone wants to join, come on down.

Internet is out. Don't know what's wrong with it. Don't know when I'll get it back. If a game has to proceed without me, please assume I am inconceivably awesome. Or, you know, whatever you think is appropriate for the situation at hand.

Firing up my Arcana campaign at long last, signups in FRPG.
