Considering the character he's based on, when he's stooped over, he's about 6'6", so fully erect he's probably nearly 8' tall.

I was figuring, since he's not a Jungle Troll, that he was slightly less tall than that. Say about 5'8" stooped, 7'3-4" erect.

The biggest mistake Zaljan has made was resurrecting Sparrow. No other single act by any agent has more endangered the mission than that.

Why, at this time specifically? Because he's trying to negotiate safe passage for the person he's supposed to be trying to protect?

He does have two alternative strategies in case that doesn't work, but neither would be nearly as comfortable for the party behind him, and he'll probably have to deal with a lot of angry elves as well.

Because, frankly, Sparrow is bad at everything he attempts. It's an understandable character trait - fairies aren't known for getting along with others, or being helpful - but an exceedingly annoying one.

It's also worth noting that he's answering a question that was asked to someone else.

Heavens, I really am the worst at describing anything ever. The elf near the carts is dismounted. (So is the lead elf.) Not that Punchy couldn't take a horse, but there's no horse for him to take.

Nooo... the chivalric knight's an emergency character. I'd far rather have Sparrow live; he's a lot of fun, and I think it's been shown that he can be quite useful anytime one of his travelling companions isn't trying to kill or imprison him.

Battle update for clarity:

The lead rider is dismounted, wounded on the arm by Greenleaf's arrow. He has just set the last living archer (Megara's grandfather, not that Greenleaf recognizes him) on fire and used wind to push him toward Greenleaf.

Taddeo has skewered another fae-elf in the leg with his rapier. The elf is down on the ground muttering a spell.

Edric still has an arrow in the leg and is maintaining an anti-magic spell around the party's carts.

Punchy has tackled the third fae-elf and is giving him the business, while two feral men try to pull him off.

Zaljan is treating a wounded horse that is immobilized by earth.

The party's oxen are lying down on the ground. The fae-elves' other two horses are shying away nervously down the road, but are still in the area. The east side of the camp is still on fire.

Yala is still fast asleep in her tent.

Awesome. I don't know how we got here or who we are fighting or why, but thats OK. Punchy will punch anyone who tries to punch him (and most other people, too) and thats all the reason he (and I) need.
