The previous iteration was very popular despite being small. There are presently 9 signups. Play will start in 3 weeks or so, and the play cycle will be a relaxed 5 days.

I'm going to be hosting the next game of wolves. This one will have a cyber punk theme and the location it takes place in will be right here in the FRPG boards. All players will be playing as themselves and will appear in game as physical representations of their avatars. Recruitment and OOC will be up sometime tomorrow or on sunday.

It seems like wolves has become anything but. I blame AlternateTorg for his amazingly popular game of Oni, which he needs to do a sequel to at some point.

I'd love to do a sequel. It will probably be a while, though, for several reasons: a) Right now, I'm too busy playing Portal 2; b) I'd want to take some time figuring out how to change some things up a bit, as part of the concept was that players were operating somewhat in the dark; and c) I'm actually brewing a different game idea that I think you guys will love. If I can get the details worked out, I'll start that when my Portal 2 fixation dies down. If not, or after that other game, I'll give some consideration to Oni II.

That being said, if someone else wants to host an Oni-style game, my feelings wouldn't be hurt in the slightest. It'd be fun to experience it from the other side. But either way is fine with me.

Visiting my family. I haven't seem them in a while so I'm being dragged all over hell and creation to make up for lost time. This is actually the first time I've been able to log on in a few days. What with the upcoming finals, graduation, upcoming eviction from student housing, and desperate search to find a job and apartment over the next couple weeks, I'm not sure when the next time I can log on will be. I'll also be shutting off internet access at some point so I won't be stuck paying a bill for something I'm not there to use anymore.

So, yeah. Don't expect to see me much. I'll log in whenever I can, but I'm not making any promises.
