Full-size image available, if desired.

EDIT: I realize this isn't a pair of "his and hers" images like you originally requested. I've got an idea for that, though. I'll post it tomorrow, if I get time....

Well, it is a very common way to photograph rings.

Okay, I have channeled all of my GIMP-fu to produce these his and hers images:

EDIT: ImageShack dropped one of the images, so I had to re-upload it.

I usually botch on the whole size thing, so if some one could help me, I'd love to have the panel with the drawings of Zoe in this comic. If you can help, I'll give you endless gratitude.

Can someone find me an avatar with love written in kanji? Something I may never find and yet strive to obtain. Dorky, I know :/

EDIT:
Or you could just find one for Kajin. I adopted it as my nickname in middle school, thinking it meant "wind" and it instead meant "pretty woman"

I've never laughed so hard and been so ashamed at the same time than the moment I learned that.

If you were more specific about what you wanted, I could easily slap the kanji on something. Or is it just the text you want?

(there are also a few other things “kajin” can mean in Japanese, like “family member”, “tanka poet”, and “Chinese person living outside China”... even “god of fire” if you stretch it a teensy bit)

Yeah I know, but beautiful woman just seems funny somehow :/

I think I'd rather have Kajin, and yes you can just slap the text into a pic. If you're feeling artsy, feel free to exercise creative license in making it if you want. Maybe shiny golden text on a black background... Is that alright?

I really like it, but I'd suggest a couple of changes if you're willing.

change the background to solid black...
if you can find one, place a picture of a naginata to the left of the text with the blade in the lower left corner and the end of the shaft just to the left of the top of the text...
if you can't find an appropriate naginata, than leave the text where it is...

Is this all okay?

I see BRPXQZME found the kanji for "kajin" for you. If you want the kanji for love, we'll need to know which "love" you mean. There are several Japanese words for it. Here's what one of my reference books has to say:

Quote:
AI. Love.

Ai is not a word to be taken lightly. It corresponds to the luminous Greek term agape -- spiritual love as opposed to eros or sexual love, which is koi in Japanese.

[etymology and examples deleted --tll]

A cautious Japanese will try to avoid ai if possible, as the very force that renders it so compelling can backfire, making the speaker sound too pushy or too desperate. So, for safer casual chats about love, suki, "like," and daisuki, "really like" often prove to be more prudent choices.
(Suki is pronounced the same as the English "ski.")

So, which is it to be? BTW, the word "koi" also means "carp" ( the fish). :torg: This can become quite punny... :pun:
