Is "Market Eddie's Megamart" supposed to be a parody of somewhere in particular? Or is it more-or-less the generic one-stop-shopping place?

(Furry porn? Whatever, I guess. Where's BlankSlate when you need him?)

Ok, Pete's explanation not withstanding, I'm very confused...

Wednesday, Torg is recapping to Sasha in their quarters in the Minion Master's lair about his solo visit to the digibot mall; Thursday, we find that Sasha and the Minion Master were with him at the mall.

Perhaps Bun-bun gave him a concussion.

When I first saw the theatrical trailer's for Avatar, I saw the movie pitch as Dancing with Wolves meets The Rocky and Bullwinkle: Upsidaisium story arc..

I hadn't realized the next pitch line was likely, "we can make it Furry Porn to market to Kids and other witless nerd boys and girls!"

Thank you Pete for making my imagery of Stabatard's formulation complete...

I don't think he finished the story, or they decided to go see Stabatard or something. Maybe tomorrow we'll see this has all been in his head...Torg's kinda lost his mind.

Nice, Pete. Thanks for the warning.

Problem is, when you tell people not to do something, it's almost guaranteed that they'll do it. Oh well, the furry porn websites will love you for it.

Dugrik, Torg wasn't allowed to gush about the film, so he's abandoned his story about the digbot mall, and is now flashbacking about the time he gushed about the film instead.

See the last few panels yesterday.

Handy ref for the last time we had furry porn (or the closest thing to it) on Sluggy: http://www.sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/031001, http://www.sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/031002

Odd why Pete didn't include these links, since Torg said the exact same thing both then and now. Oh well.
So, Pete. Why does Torg know what furry porn is? Hmm??
Can he use the same excuse I can? I typed in "anthro" into Google. Last time I EVER bothered to type only half of the word anthropology.

I was actually going to apologise for being snarky and then point out that no-one had surely said before that the furry fandom was drooling over that movie. But then I thought, Pete's calling it furry pornography? What the heck is it actually like? Okay, the strip says something about that, but if it's just that there's one sex scene somewhere, I should probably go back to my original snarky attitude about this comic, because then it's different from a regular movie in the furry department, not the sex one.
