Daily Strip: April 3, 2012

Postby Zillatain » Mon Apr 02, 2012 11:41 pm

Today is Tuesday of the third.

Do you know what that means?

No... How could you know. You don't have enough information.

Should I help? ... Maybe just a clue...

The leopard's stripes are too tight for the one moon of Saturn.

...

You'll never figure it out... Google might help... Maybe not...

Wow, working at the post office must pay so badly people can barely afford food. That employee is so skinny she's practically just a head on a stick.

Ah yes, the post office. For ZHOAS it is perhaps one of the more perfect hiding places.

Yes, ZOHAS fits right in there. I wonder if any of her coworkers have noticed that she's just a head on a stick yet? Somehow I doubt it.

Of course I can figure that out. You're talking about the fact that while the Cassini Division is known to be the result of Saturn's moon Mimas resonating with the ring particles in that band of orbits, many other gaps and "stripes" in Saturn's rings are unexplained.
Really quite elementary, my dear Zillatain.

...Ok, ok. What you're actually referring to is this:

NASA's Cassini passes within 46 miles of Saturn's Enceladus
Cassini was able to capture pictures of Saturn's moons Enceladus, Janus and Dione this week, after successfully passing by all three moons at a close proximity.

NASA researchers said Cassini first passed Enceladus on Tuesday. The spacecraft ultimately came within 46 miles of the moon's surface, allowing it to collect data on the composition of the moon's south polar plumes.

And this:
The tiger stripes of Enceladus consist of four sub-parallel, linear depressions in the south polar region of the Saturnian moon.

^ Nice research!

Anyways, is there any reason why Zhoas hasn't found the sweet release of decomposition yet? It's been a while, hasn't it? A couple years?

Awww... look, ZHOAS remembers Torg...

She was a couple of centurries old as Jane before she became ZHOAS. Perhaps Jane stuffed herself full of preservatives?

Forget decomposition, Jane's actually loking pretty good. I say she's been eating customers.

(serious answer: remember that jane was breifly a fully regenerated, intelligent, speaking head on a stick. Then she was shot in the head. she's not dumb due to decomposition, she's dumb due to a bullet through the head. )

I think you are overthinking this, guys. Apparently in Sluggyworld, the magic that creates zombies also keeps them alive even if they aren't eating.

I like it ... eat customers, thereby reducing the workload, thereby reducing the number of letters not delivered on time. Statistics would improve. She might get a promotion.

(Yes, the shot through the head brought back the vegetative state. But she was like that before too, due to not eating meat.)

Why is Torg showing up with a SHHH! baseball cap?

That's showing very little faith in undercover agent ZHOAS. For all you know, Torg, she could spring herself out very well, mind you.

Can't be - we know for a fact that they eventually "decompose out of existence" if they don't eat anything. Actually, I think I remember Torg had been feeding her meat that wasn't brains in order to keep her around.

Jane is also a liar. Minion Master hinted to Bestseid that her story wasn't really how she became a "zombie" but was cut off. Anything more would be spec, suffice to say that we don't know what the heck Jane really is.

Wow, Jane's sporting a new hairdo. Wig, or has she been somehow ingesting decomposed hair?

No kidding. I didn't even recognize her for a second.

"Take that stick out of your butt and help me!" Heh. Actually she doesn't **have** a butt... (unlike the loud and, ah, ample customer)
