*Announcer Voice*

It's been a good history for Ma-"kiki"-la Maroney, and she's been amazing in the individual annual events in recent history. But boy, has this been a painful one for her. We all in the individual karaoke community thought she'd be a guaranteed gold here, but the floor just seemed to be cursed tonight. The Russian entrant, Suzette, sang the lines to the wrong song right after Ma-kiki-la, as can be seen by her not even making the podium.

And I hope Ma-kiki-la's scowl doesn't become a lasting tradition, because man, she does not look amused.

Kiki Maroney is not impressed.

Awesome anniversary strip, Pete! Thanks for 15 years of nifty-ness, and here's hoping to many more!

Everybody knows that Sock-Lop 'sung' a song that had no lyrics, right?

I heard the Sock-Lop song inspired all the judges to go around town afterwards biting people's butts! Poor Kiki, still don't know how she lost. :(

It's actually the the socklop puppet. What I'm wondering is what number Corsica that was that apparently died in the competition.

I hope people will agree with me when I say:

So now I have a new Twitter handle/avatar and am waiting for people to pelt me with rocks for not being as fast on the account settings boxes as I am. :riff: Maybe Pete'll give Torg one or I'll see something from Z-bean sometime.

Poor Satan. How is he going to pay child support now? Milk ain't free dude.

But the real crime here is that Torg isn't rockin the plaid shirt.

Also: I just noticed that Aylee has been in the same phase for 5 years.

I like the dowdy-looking bird-thing at the left of the last panel.

Also Pete should have also linked the strip with Gennaro saying (about ferret butts) "That's not what the internet is for!"

Also - Also. I have a niggling curiosity about the origin of the mausoleum/muslim joke.
In the sense that I really am curious, but ultimately I know that I will probably be disturbed if I ever found out.

I'm rather curious about the dog with a monocle sitting next to her. Is that... Scrappy-Doo?? ('Cause I could totally see him on the Hell-Board.)

I can't believe it's already been 15 years. I started reading 12 years ago and never would have thought that it (or any web comic) would persevere for this long. Here's crossing my fingers and hoping for 15 more! :)
