What a great Friday comic. We've got the awesome kiss, followed by the perfect reaction display of everyone involved (loved the faces/expressions of , , and ).

Panel 4 is actually my favorite from this strip. The tenderness expressed by Zoe's hand is remarkable.

The one foreboding thought that keeps running through my mind: Chaz probably needs to be powered up to kill N'awww, given her amazing regen. How is Torg going to get innocent blood for Chaz? This doesn't seem like the part of the story where he'll just happen to have a fresh demon-kill lying around...

Like most everyone else, I was at first surprised by Aylee's reaction. But then I remembered a ton of things that hinted at how she felt about Torg. The most pertinent one may be this. I guess Aylee really has become human--and now she gets to experience the heartbreak part of that. Poor Aylee! @ Goatlord: That was a masterful analysis of the artwork the various "Torg kisses someone" scenes! Amazing how much Pete can covey with the direction of a line! Thanks for taking the time. LB

Thanks for taking the time. LB Thanks, LadyBlanc. Woah, good catch there. Aylee's line about "Torg being the only thing that makes her feel safe when I'm scared" adds whole other levels of tragedy in hindsight... its basically the same thing Zoe feels about him. And THIS scene, where Zoe begins to realize her feelings for Torg, yet Aylee is physically unable to speak herself is equally heartrending looking back. Poor Aylee. Torg has always thought of her more as a little sister, apparently... Which explains why THIS hurt her so much, just as the times Zoe got mad at him for leaving her behind.

Just a heads up, I'll look into coloring "that" panel if anyone is interested...
Unless, someone else wants to.

Was planning on doing it tonight but worked late and am not home yet. It would be interesting to see the different takes on it if we end up with multiple copies, sort of like a classroom were all the kids colored the same picture.

That would be nifty. :) Well here's my version Torg is hard to color, he's got a weirdly shaped face. :P

Night time colors based on this strip. Yes I know I could have shaded a few more details but I thought it best to keep it minimalist. edit: fixed broken link
