Huzzah for Kiki and her BLEEP sign! I was wondering where she'd gotten to. Guess I was right yesterday about Riff touching on Torg's sore spot...

Oh, sound like a omnious sparkles of E-ville opposite! Cool!

Torg is finally venting his sentiments and is talking DoP (if a little early than he normally would)

Believe it or not, I'm more into the next thing Torg reveals about DoP than about a Zoe date thing!

At the edge of the seat.

Poings held in reserve as next strip could make this one a retrospective 0 or a 7! (I'm starting to think weekly ratings get more of the "sum greater than the parts" that Pete delivers and Ian doesn't)

Tea was my first thought, but the mugs suggest coffee.

Could be either, or possibly hot chocolate. A mug is a mug is a mug, doesn't matter what's in it.

Of course, the proper response for Kiki at this point is actually, "Ow, my *bleep*ing ears!" (Ob Simpsons quote.)

So Torg has a little pent up anger, eh? Don't hold back. Tell us what you really feel..

Hehehehehe Kiki holding the sign is just adorable.

Awww... poor Kiki. I wonder if this'll do anything to Chaz. And if it did anything to Torgthula.

I actually laughed out loud at this one.

"That almost never happens, WAH!!"

and

"You think! You four-eyed hyper-violent ..."

Gotta love the Flanders's boy- though the line is "Ow, my freaking ears!" Sorry BLAMM!- I'm just that much of a stickler for Simpsons quotes. </off topic>

Zoe looks cute in this strip (though I don't really like the fact that it seems like she's playing the role of hausfrau), but as I've said before- I've always had a thing for Gwynn, so she wins mucho points for her Queen-of-the-Obvious statement.
Kiki is just bloody adorable with her prop-world censor sign.

"My Ears!"

Well, I feel sheepish. Now that people have said that it's a tray of mugs, it looks [bleep sign]ing obvious. But last night after 10:00 it looked like a steaming rectangular-ish blob. I chalk it up to a long day of work, which had me tired, cranky and out of sorts.

I wonder what Gwynn is holding behind her back, could it be Mr. Baseball Bat? No worries, Mr. Serving Tray is right close at hand.

Pshah. We all know that what we don't want on Saturday is going to rear its ugly head, and that's an pIanful Saturday. But if Sunday is cool, will that still raise the poings upward?

This one got a couple chuckles out of me, I'll admit. Though why Riff wouldn't use Tupperware(tm) for storage of scenti-mentals I have no idea. Afterall, there's less chance of leakage... but that's Riff for ya.

But as I'm feeling whimsical... we'll have a State of the Kitten Sluggy Grading. ;)
Sunday: One Kitten. I mean, really. You could have jokingly answered another question or something to that effect. Or even continued the story, showed Torg facing down the critter or something... *shrug* but it was rather evil of you. You know it, Pete, which is why you were sitting back with some scotch and listening gleefully to our screams of "Damn you!" :sasha:
Monday: Two Kittens and a half-bowl of milk. Fun, but also evil in that we want to know what's going on with Torg! Our Torg! But it does answer a few questions... and the pants bit was amusing.
Tuesday: One wet Kitten, sans Milk. Sorry. I still don't find this strip amusing. It just doesn't work for me. *shrug*
Wednesday: Five Kittens with Mittens! (And milk) Now THIS is Sluggy Freelance. I still think Gwynn was apologizing to Zoe, not Torg... but still. Fun! ^.^
Thursday: Two Kittens staring at an empty milk bowl. Mmmm, sorry, the strip just fizzles somehow. Though Gwynn was cute.
Friday: Four Kittens! Hey, it did make me chuckle. Though Gwynn was right over Torg's shoulder... didn't she get a little bit of a wiff as well? :sasha: Ah well, I'm sure we'll see more mischief Sunday...

State of the Week: Three Kittens and milk. The week could have been stronger, but overall it was pretty decent and continued the storyline along. It also hints at future resolution of the DoL aftermath. And how long does the Scenti-Mental drug last? This could bode funny... or dramatic. Or both. :kiki:

(Fortunately, the Kittens are happy, so we don't need to worry about a ribboning spree. Hey, my kittens aren't bloodthirsty devilkittens. Well, most of the time. *grin*)

"That hardly ever happens." We've all heard that before... haven't we? :riff:

I enjoyed this one, though it wasn't quite as amusing to me as yesterday's strip. It is good to see the changed Torg, for better or worse.

Very Funny, the super-emotion drug looks interesting, and "that hardly ever happens" was a great line.
