Classically Torg!
Anybody else think that each strip this week has been better than the last? Seriously, bravo Pete! Go buy yourself ice cream.

I just decided that I especially love the top part of frame 6.

Yeah, at first glance, I thought it was just a strap or something attached to Aylee's horn so he'd have something to grab onto, but after looking closer goggles seem like a pretty good bet. After all, since he's already got the jacket and scarf going, Torg would only be a goofy leather cap away from nailing the whole aviator look.

Aylee's got the mad burrowing skills, on top of that quickly rising out of the ground.
"Up from the damp,
thirty stories high,
breathing fire,
his head in the sky!"

Frame 5 is excellent. I love Pete's facial expressions!
A bit hard to tell just how fast or slow are the ghouls, though.

I'm pretty sure the thing on his chest is the DFA remote, probably clipped to something for easy access. Also possibly why Torg is so cocky at the ghouls.

Wow, Pete. way to turn the story around! that was awesome, and the art, man! great art today. Great layering of the buildings for depth, especially in Panel 1 with the ghoul in negative space (coloured white!)
I love when you do stuff like that with the art, Pete.
Also, great touch with the small cuts on Torg's face.
Nifty!!

Roaring isn't usually Aylee's thing, even so, good to see she's sticking out for Torg.

Duh. Of course. Nice catch, trinalin!

Torg's dialogue in this strip is very... weird. It has a strange stilted phrasing to it, almost like it was the end result of a "Caption What Torg's Saying!" contest.

Pete, and Torg, are using Aylees' new form to great effect in this comic.

Well, this is a nice bookend with yesterdays strip, I'd have to say...
Don't really get the connection with the necropolis... Didn't the ghouls live underneath the necropolis, not roam around in it looking for less mutated humans to devour?
Also, check out the reuse of the Rayth-style head on one of the ghouls in today's strip, panel 8... Heh, reuse of stylistic features by artists.... And no, I'm not saying he is a Rayth or anything, just the art convention was reused....
