Hmm. It's amazing how I can tell just by looking at this comic that it's Friday.

Oh man, that's some bad déjà vu.

This is either going to end really badly, and/or resolve a big spec debate my wife and I've been having on the nature of Zoe and her soulless ness.

I'm a terrible person because I really, really want to see the nine and a half types of hell that would come spilling out of Torg if that shot connects.

Zoe, you will be missed. ʘﭖʘ

Dammit Zoe, after all these years with Gwynn, you think you'd have learned to quit turning around

Changing speed and direction is the best thing they can do right now, it's pathetically easy to shoot a person running straight away as while the legs and arms move, the torso and head stay about level.

Well, she did hear Riff. That's something.

Fingers are crossed all the way.

Well, since no one else posted the reference link, I will.

Nice cliffhanger, Pete.

Nice cliffhanger, Pete.

Wow, nice catch. I had no idea of the almost exact correspondence of scene.

Oops, the order should be reversed
You got three of them right. Hammer (Mjölnir); Dagger; and Arrow.

Cutlass, pea shooter, and yard light are incorrect.

That has ominous similarities to today's.

Well, by his point of view, he is staying "good".

ASCII Time:
l'z'k got four correct (hammer (Mjölnir), arrow, axe, mace) and tarrakis enthusiastically got crossbow!!! correct.

Though I have to wonder about l'z'k's -and wife's- shaving habits since he uses a crossbow to shave with...

I was looking through the thread specifically to see if somebody caught the correspondence between today's last panel and that day's eighth, because I was sure not going to let it pass without being mentioned! Although I'd also point out the parallel between Qaboos's dialog in today's second panel and Alt-Gywnn's in the second-to-last panel here.

Just in case anyone's in denial and thinks the similarity is just an eerie coincidence, here's a quick panel insert I threw together so you can see both at the same time. There's no question it was intentional. Even the dialogue follows.
