Can Bob really be considered a loss? If what nearly happened to Gwynn is any indication, there probably wasn't anything left of him.
Of course, it could just be more of Skip acting like a nice guy for Riff's dad's benefit.

This is (I think) the main problem KZK has: He's always the one responsible for the end of the world, but his opponent (prozoatu or whatever) always gets to pick how the next spark starts. Riff's dad might be hoping that by helping KZK end the world, he can become a demigod (like simichus), or win justice for some perceived slight (like the king) or even bring someone dead back to life. But he can't. Because KZK doesn't get to recreate the world, he only gets to destroy it.
