I'm glad Torg is on my side regarding the dumbness of Skip's cult.

That demon in the background better watch how he handles Chad. One wrong swing and ALL the cults are gonna have a bad day

So... they should be as careless as possible?

Nah. What are the odds of that?

I don't think the demons have to worry about Chaz unless one of their hosts happens to be innocent. Overall, they seem to be the willing sort -- though I could be wrong.

Why am I thinking of the mountain-size Daddy-longlegs from John Ringo's "Into the Looking Glass"?

I can think of two possibilities for what it is. So clearly it will be neither.

Can Bob really be considered a loss? If what nearly happened to Gwynn is any indication, there probably wasn't anything left of him.

Of course, it could just be more of Skip acting like a nice guy for Riff's dad's benefit.

I'd consider Bob's dead body lying in the sand to be a gain, personally, but I'll leave the rest of that discussion for spec :P

This is (I think) the main problem KZK has: He's always the one responsible for the end of the world, but his opponent (prozoatu or whatever) always gets to pick how the next spark starts. Riff's dad might be hoping that by helping KZK end the world, he can become a demigod (like simichus), or win justice for some perceived slight (like the king) or even bring someone dead back to life. But he can't. Because KZK doesn't get to recreate the world, he only gets to destroy it.
