Don't sell yourself short, Strum. There's lots of healthy protein in that body of yours. You tell her.

I know they're both horribly evil, but I can't help thinking they're so cute together!!! I don't know if I want to see them righteously slain, or see them hook up.

This Strom isn't like that other dimensional Strom in terms of trying to save the world.

I dig how Strom and Naaw enjoy each others company. It will be interesting to see how Strom reacts to Naaw if she changes body or if the host regains control.

I know I shouldn't like the mercenary, but I can't help it. naw is stinkin' cute, but any image of them hooking up is just to disturbing....

I see Naaw is going for a "high in questionable moral fiber" diet here! :aylee:

Wow. This is the first time since Oasis that we've seen the Strawman not completely in control.

Maybe it's only people outside the web who can fluster him? Because Oasis operates outside the web, and I'm only recently starting to learn what that means, which could also *spec* *spec* *spec*

Strom has a dim view of people. He thinks most people are, on the balance, shallow, stupid cattle. I think most women bore him.

Now Naaaaaw, on the other hand, he knows that she's a hideous monster who is totally trying to kill him and chew up his bones.

But she's not boring.

Does strom has a bug cult themed thermos in frame one?

I wondered if that was what it was.

I may have to dissent. Strawman (probably) wouldn't have killed Lupae if she hadn't snooped in his things.
[Though yeah, he might have done so anyway to wipe his tracks.]
But this is too close to spec, so I'll shut up.

Reactions:
Strawman still has the knife-resistant shirt. I would have thrown that away.
He's wearing long sleeves/pants in the desert, but the right sort of garment (that breathes well) is fine for that.

Nice way to present the reader with knowledge that Strawman knows what is happening in the camp. Was going to say something else, but its specc-ish.

Also, good job to Pete for making Strawman's "voice" distinct from Riff. A character pointing at a gadget and talking about it makes me want to hear Riff.

According to his own inner monologue, he wouldn't.
