Don't worry, Monday is afraid, very afraid...of Dunuloa's skin condition. Yikes! Hope it's not contagious. ----- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote EACH day. [#121 -3 *83]

That last panel made me laugh out loud. That old joke, back again. In such dire times. I love it. Oh, it is the same day as the last time the joke appeared. That's funny. Many have testified of skin conditions being either reduced or disappearing completely when you stop eating wheat.

That's strange. I know Torg was manipulated by the Fate spiders in bROKEN. Forgot to charge his phone. Maybe it only has an effect when wielding it or when charged...

I think I know how at least part of things will end up, given the Friday "revelation".
But it'll definitely be interesting to see how it actually does get there, though.

I think the important word here is "wielding". Essentially it's a tool that negates fate. With the tool the operator can unfate things, but without it they can't do anything.
As for the "sword speech": Panel 2 looks like "My brain is being scrambled". Panel 4 looks like, "Why Kronus? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!??!" To me at least.

So whoever weilds the sword, (should they prove worthy) posesses the power to defy fate?

Worthy? It's not Mjolnir. It's been wielded by homocidal maniacs.

Innnnnteresting. What is Chaz saying as well? Only when wielding it, which is not every often when you think about it. Chaz is saying: "Ow my head!" and then "Khronus?! Don't!!" Or anything along those lines basically.

Well, Kronus just officially attained too dumb to live status. He thought it would be a good idea to randomly toss one of the (presumably) only things in existence capable of killing him out the door for anyone to find and use.

I just noticed that Chaz has a shining blade, but there isn't anything indicating if his gems are shining....or if they're missing completely. In fact, the light we see in the gem sockets changes from gray to white between panel 1 and panel 2. Pete, are the gems supposed to be gone?
Hmm. Gems definitely there when Brehda is slain. Gems probably still there when Chaz speaks for the first time. But now it looks like gems are not there. Woah, whas the color fade on purpose?

I don't get how folks are getting stuff about Chaz being in pain in that second panel. In panel two Chaz looks like he's saying, "I'm indestructible." Note that the symbol bears a striking resemblance to kzk's symbol, but it is upsidedown and with a block on his back (and pointier sides). The root symbol is clearly the bug's though. So I interpret this as the bug turned on his back, hence the opposite of destruction.
