Only one of him doesn't know who he is? But don't both OU stories take place *before* 4U City, and thus, before the R&D wars and thus before Gwynn and Siphy get swapped to tell Bun Bun who he is?
I agree with Uncle Tempest- timeless space is confusing.

But Tempest said "Lord Sluggy... is here in Timeless Space with me! TWICE! And one of him doesn't know who he is!" So Tempest is saying one of them DID know he was "Lord Sluggy" ??

Because of the robot costume, remember? I thought he just meant that Sluggy trashed his own memory by blunt trauma -- that is, the younger one (with the memories) knew who he was on the way in and through OU, but when he met Bun Bun 2.0 (rebooted), he lost those threads. So wait -- who's the "particularly young" potential? Given that Gwynn (referred to as a potential) wasn't noted for being unusually young, I can't see that any of our known OU characters would fit this description. tarrakis wrote: Yodimus_Prime wrote: Well, Googol, you control the web right? And you need people from all over the world to know it as soon as possible right? Why not - hmm just brainstorming here - hire an artist who can create a primarily visual story ALL about it, and have him draw the entire thing directly on the fate web. Like some kind of...I don't know...web comic! Oh my god! We are all potentials, and we didn't even know it!!! This... is brilliant. It's just the way a story should be. (also, "fate web". heehee) BobSasuke wrote: Wait, did Oasis go toe-to-toe with an actual god then? You should visit the spec forum(s). We have a fascinating theory based on actual plot clues :) Dang, Pete. You're starting this week with a bang (although it looks like we're going to step off somewhere else for a while now). One more question: If Bun Bun and his shadow faced off against the year in the Tower of Time (which Tempest apparently confirmed) then where was the web?

Bingo. Cap'n Bun remembers his past as Lord Sluggy. It's just never revealed to the reader.

I was thinkin' more along the lines of Peter Pan, where we all have to clap our hands to save the Dimension of Nifty. Except instead of clapping our hands, it's "get plastered and shout at your screen"
