Squish. You. indeed. OMFG. So much to say. Gwynn is literally just returning from the past and who knows what she remembers and what she doesn't. Torg looks weird but you can tell that's supposed to be him because of the sword. How is Chaz gonna power up? And the artwork of rebuilding His Voweless is AWESOME. And Zoe? Zoe! You're still the Storm Breaker, right? There's a storm outside..... and WHERE IS BUN-BUN?
And finally, Pete, you are responsible for WAYYYYY too many late nights while I wait for the stroke of midnight to catch up on the next day's strip. Thanks!!!!

Hey Gwynn! Welcome back! Nah, you didn't miss much. Oh BTW: it's the end of the world.

Of all the Friday strips that I've read on time, I don't think there's a single one that I anticipated reading more than the one coming up in a little less than 24 hours (hopefully).
I have no idea what will happen, but right now it's freaking awesome. Makes me wish Saturdays and Sundays were still a thing, too.

His is getting so good! I started to color the whole page but I just can't get into it tonight, feeling too much like a chore. I will probably do it this weekend, though.

Oh, snap.
It occurred to me just how MANY reasons the Big K has to hate Our Heroes: * Zoƫ's squish * Gwynn pitching him into the Nothing, and having to be stuck in her head all these years * Riff sending him into the past * Torg for... um, bonking him on the head with a non-powered Chaz? Freeing him in the first place?
Wouldn't want to be in their shoes right now.
So how come Wilcott didn't barf up any K'z'k 'n' Bits? Did it all pass on to his firstborn?

Has to work something like that, really; K'Z'K has been doing his "collector of souls" gig for pretty much the entirety of this spark, albeit in short intervals when he's been freed and re-imprisoned. What I find interesting is, in all the years between K'Z'K's fateful imprisonment and now, not one of those family lines died out. Lucky break for The End, given all the crazy stuff that keeps happening! (Yeah, getting into spec territory past that, so let's leave it there.)

I realize this is completely outside the whole "suspension of disbelief" arena, but... how do a bunch of soul-bits result in being back in the flesh?
All that aside, this is well into epic territory.
Gwynn has some surprises in store. She doesn't know about Zoe and Riff, she's never heard of Riff's dad, she may or may not remember all the stuff she's done under the control of Kizzyboo, and she may or may not have any magic left in her (since the bug has gone).
Dang, what a day to wait for Friday.
Oh -- and I think Lacey just got THOOM'ed.

At least one of the ordained was killed (just moments ago actually, by a skeleton-Deadel, for not chanting Ropuik). So we have to assume that whatever happens to a piece of K'Z'K when the host is killed, it doesn't interfere with his ability to fully regenerate.
