OK, that was very funny. I can't stop smiling now.
Also interesting that the demons seem to be scheming something...

Zoe living is bad news for K'Z'K, it's a wonder he isn't reacting to it. Yet.

Love how the Stormbreaker and the Destroyer are on the same side, reprimanding Torg for being a jerk. LOL Pete surprised me with that. I was expecting more of a fake out from kzk's reaction.
Great to see the gang back together. Gwynn seems too overcome to even hear Torg, and that might be in Torg's best interest. After being apart for so long, he seems to have forgotten how Gwynn reacts if she gets mad, despite being the one to mention the fork incident.

Panel 4 gave me flashbacks of Torg's "people on the ground in front of me" flashbacks. Does anybody else find Kissy to be disturbingly cute in this strip? I mean, when I saw him in yesterday's filler, I honestly thought *Leah* had drawn him! And here he is in all his gooey sweetness in a canon strip. That's just *wrong*. I mean I can totally see him ACTING sweet and cute, just to be obnoxious, but he should still LOOK like the Destroyer. And why is he acting all cute in the first panel, before any of the reunion stuff even happened? I mean that's directly after the "Squish. YOU." panel last Thursday!

Yeah, it almost seems like row 2 and row 1 should be switched, so that panel 1 comes right after panel 7. I'm just glad that Gwynn got that hug. After last Friday, she needed one!

Oooh! Sudden thought, which I don't THINK is spec...
Bun-Bun is still out in the desert somewhere. Probably the God of Power has a part to play in this scene.
But... if Bun-Bun is the God of Power, what does that make the Bun-Bun from the DoL !?

My thoughts exactly. What *is* going on here? Yeah. The sudden transition from 'imminent apocalyptic world-ending doom" to "cuteness and casual conversation" is a little jarring. I think Pete realized it would be, and used Meander and Chillus' comments to proactively address the pause on immediate destruction, but it's not the pause as much as K'Z'K's sudden characterization shift to that of a sentimental goofball during what should be his moment of ultimate victory that feels off. The embodiment of destruction itself should be a bit more menacing.

Maybe this is the "play with your food" part? garyfritz wrote: But... if Bun-Bun is the God of Power, what does that make the Bun-Bun from the DoL !? The god of Flower Power.

Quote: Jeez, Torg! Vindictive much? And you aren't being the slightest bit vindictive, are you, mister Squish? seebert42 wrote: Zoe living is bad news for K'Z'K, it's a wonder he isn't reacting to it. Yet. He isn't? Then why is he suddenly standing right behind Zoë and Riff when he was in a different place just two panels earlier? CheeseWhisper wrote: Maybe this is the "play with your food" part? I think he's grabbing Zoe with his side-phalanges, and they're reaching for Riff too. I'm having trouble making it out though, it almost looks like there's a book in front of her?
