Well, Kizzy, looks like the yolk's on you! That's what you get for counting your chickens before they hatch. (Post edited to fix misspell of yolk)

That was great. I waiting to see what Zoe would be doing while all this was going on.

Everybody is noticing what is happening to kizzy, but they don't seem to notice what is happening to Gwynn. She's caught in the spell as well...
There's three things that I can think of happening. One I really hope happens, but probably won't. The other two... I guess if that is what Pete wants...

Heh, symbols 7, 8, and 9 almost look like they are spelling out Z O Ë.

You know, I was wondering why Dunuloa repeated the incantation twice in that previous strip. Seemed kinda awkward formatting wise. Now we know...

So now they all just have to worry about the cult, whatever's happening to Gwynn, and Strom's exit strategy.

So I asked Pete at DragonCon, like almost 7 years ago, if Zoe was ever going to reprise her role as the stormbreaker. (Who I happened to be dressed as at the time, because that was my character name on WoW.) He said yes without giving any specific details, but that tidbit was the main reason why I didn't believe she had really died a few years ago. Since then I've smiled every time someone referred to her by that title, and of course today's comic just made me cheer. Zoe's always been the "normal" one, with no special powers or abilities, who just kinda got sucked into all these crazy adventures. It's just awesome to see her step up and, you know, save the world.
