Wait, why does Farahn suddenly think Gwynn is Siphaniana? In the reference link in the Never he even calls Gwynn "Gwynn." Also... Poopy Pants K'Z'K = phenomenal.

Has been Siphy in the body for the last couple of years, right up until a minute ago.

If Farahn was the diamond-guy protecting Gwynn in the book, why did he have **Kron's** symbol on his face?

Right, but the spirit of the book has been around and lending Gwynn it's power far longer than Siphy's brief stint in Gwynn's body. And in the one reference link he even calls Gwynn by her proper name and tells her he loves her. Something doesn't add up.

Doesn't renaming him to the really-rather-pronouncable "Poopy Pants" undo that protection? I think all she did was add "poopy pants" onto his name rather than replacing K'Z'K. The last time someone cast that spell they didn't need to say the destroyer's current name. Whether "K'z'k" is still part of the name or not, anyone who chants "Poopy Pants" over and over ought to feel quite silly. I also think Poopy Pants K'z'k would have rather mixed feelings for someone who empowers Poopy Pants K'z'k by chanting Poopy Pants K'z'k's name. All you need is a kid with a loss of control, in front of classmates. I could see some elementary school taunting accidentally taking a turn for the worse.

...but they need to include the whole thing, not just Poopy Pants.
So it's obscure AND embarrassing.

It looks more like the book itself, rather than Kron, is the source of the diamond symbol for Farahn today. (Look at the book in panels 4-6.) DoL Gwynn has the same diamond on her forehead, indicating a connection to the book. Of course, the book could have inherited the symbol from Kron, but often Kron's symbol has a line through it (to indicate the pyramids).

"We need that book!" isn't an instruction, it's a declaration.

It wouldn't be a stretch to think they gave the scroll, and in turn the book the diamond symbol in memoriam of Kron...but this is flirting with spec territory, methinks.

True, but then there's still the problem of why Farahn would be professing his love to Gwynn in past strips.
