L plus 3.06 Wednesday is feeling a little listless... Oh no, wait, I'm not. I'm very listmore now. The werelagomorphs are staring at me... 1) The "chairman" has way too much influence around here. The CEO won't even stand up to him. He decides things and everybody nods and agrees. So let's see about his latest decision... There's me, you, him and her who are being forced into a deal that is screwing all of us over. But the real question is: who is getting screwed over the most?... 2) When I first bought this "product", I figured it was going to be very valuable to me. At first it was, but then some cracks appeared on it that are starting to be a problem. Found out someone else was using it for an unintended purpose without my permission. It wasn't a good deal after all. Unless... Actually, there might be someone who might be very willing to buy it. 3) Wow, you are good at this game. With very little information you figured out it was Sargent "Finger", with the knife, in the cellar. Bravo. But...there is one very important question you forgot to ask. And that is: Did I tell you the truth about what game we are playing? No, I did not. So it's my turn now! 4) I'm sorry but there is no fourth random thought today. I decide to try out the local rock "wall" but had an accident that scrambled my brain. Somebody wasn't climbing it correctly and there was a failure of my safety equipment. Now I have to get out of this dark tunnel I inexplicably found my self in. Oh there's a light over there. ----- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote EACH day. [#96 -1 *442]

I had to read panel 9 three times before I realized that the word was 'unfree' instead of 'free'. Poor word, but understandable due to space limitations.

That was harsh. The fact that Wilcott foresaw the need for secure communication, and had a microcell surgically implanted into someone else suggests a ruthlessness of schlockian proportions.

Dude! At least wipe that thing clean before sticking it in your ear. It's still dripping.

Wow, Wilcott. Everytime I think I can't think any worse of you, you display new depths. That's not a good thing.

Wilcot, you're a real swell guy, you know that? A real saint. And to think that I used to imagine Lorna was the awful one in that family.

A remarkably long-lasting battery. My phone goes dead in days.

Probably a zinc-air battery, or something similar. They used to use those in cellphones, the really old ones. They would last for weeks under heavy use, and last pretty much forever if you left them turned off. When it finally died, you would trade in the old one to be recycled and get a new one at a discount, kinda like the sodastream CO2 cartridges nowadays.

I thought for a moment that was an HC logo on the earpiece. But it's definitely cult of poopypants.
