L plus 3.10

Thursday is losing its grip on reality.

1) What is with people and having parties that get out of hand? It's a bloody mess in here... Food and drink is strewn all over the tables and floor...and walls. Tables and chairs are knocked over... Then there's...no I don't want to know about that. Guess we better get the scrub brushes and buckets and start cleaning this up. The owner is going to see "red" if we don't get it all back to how it was... Though, he was the one who threw this party...

2) Good news everybody! Our main competitor has fallen apart. There was a bid that a new friend of ours threw out for the company and...oh boy, things did not go well for their company founder and CEO. It became a hostile takeover that they were not prepared for. They are now like a chicken running around with its "head" cut off since he had to step down.

3) Eh, there's not going to be a third or fourth. Ten days of this is enough. This craziness is a pain to write, so I think it's time to just stop doing it.

4) I'm pretty sure there were many who figured out that this nonsense actually followed some logic. Tomorrow, it will be revealed as to what it was following. Which for some, they will probably still not know what was going on...

I'm sorry Zil?

Loved the comic though. The cognitive dissonance between what is being said and the art is wonderful.

Hmm, since nobody else has, I'd like to encourage defenders to sound off when they get one of their questions answered. So far, I haven't had a single one yet.
Not complaining, though.

I always did like the artsy pencils.

Yes, the pencil art is, well, nifty.
I am a defender but I didn't ask any questions. After all these years I just trust that Pete will tell us all when it is time.

Costume is starting to change.

I second (third? fourth?) the "Like the dream-ish pencil art for flashbacks".

Also, Pete, don't stress about the length. As we often like to say, your "reduced output" is more than many cartoonists would call a regular strip.

Dangit. Edited my typo after it was quoted.

Dunuloa seems to have lost most of her cloths... What happened?

Why on earth would Dunuloa want to hand the scroll to a human? ANY human? I would think she could do a lot better job of hiding/protecting it for eternity than Maloufo and his descendents.
