Tuesday is confused... How is it that it's September now?!? Last I remember it was still July! How is it that this story arc appeared out of nowhere!?! I. Just. I...wha...blath, gothal, boognag! ... ... While Tuesday curls up in a fetal position due to being brought out of stasis without its mind being White-Outed and retyped, I need to let you know something important: First: Pete is saying on the main site that I'm coloring a strip per day, but so far I've only completed 9 in about a month's time. So if you are hoping to see a new one today...I'm sorry but you'll have to make due with the Fabulous List of Fantastically Colored Strips of Fantabulousliness-ness! instead. Well, hopefully the giant arrow scorched into the ground is pointing to something important.
Also, what time is it? Is it daytime, or is it still night and the flaming "something" is lighting everything up? ... What? Of course it has nothing to do with me coloring it eventually...

I think the 'eights' may be an onamatapaeic device, maybe to depict a sound like a rusty iron wheel?
That burned outline more or less corresponds to where Gwynn would have been lying next to Torg.
The flames reaching toward Torg look disturbingly hand-like. Not good!

I think kissing Torg in Farahn-the-book's presence may not have been the smartest thing Gwynn ever did.
I'm not sure what "eight" is about but it makes me think of an episode in The Colour of Magic where that word must absolutely not be uttered in some ancient temple – and of course someone says it.
