I try not to read Sluggy after 9 at night, when it appears on the west coast. I gave in tonight and now I have to wait over 24 hours to see what's at the end of that ellipsis.

That ellipsis is an odd ending. It'll be interesting to see why it works that way, but in the mean time, it makes the whole timing of the comic seem unfinished (although there is much worse punctuation for that.

Yeah, you just know something dramatic is going to happen next, and now you have to wait to see what it is. Curse you Pete.

An ellipsis... Doesn't something terrible usually happen now?
Useful spell, and it shows the changes reverse. Makes me wonder how unreliable Torg's 'puke defense' dream really was.

I'd say "not a good idea to go out for a jog among the monsters while you're trippin' on happy-happy-joy-joy..."

Not sure from this if the changes reverse. Maybe Marco had not yet undergone the full change. No tentacles had appeared yet, at least.

Well it was very close, but he was still in the middle of the transformation. He was at the "KRIK" phase. If he made it to the "KRAK!" phase then I don't think would be reversible, since with Arabella it looked like her neck snapped.

Also interesting that he had enough presence of mind to realize what was happening and find the spell. I wonder if that's a function of the wards, the place itself, or Marco in particular.
Also, I'm afraid to read tomorrow's update.

So the spell suppresses anger, but not the urge to run outside apparently. I wonder if there's a spell for suppressing irrational impulses in Marco's book.
