So what, Torg and Gwynn are going to go play a game of Amnesia now? Is this The Dark Descent or A Machine for Pigs?

Violence is always an answer. Maybe not the best answer, but an answer.
Also, Now that pete mentions it, I've been meaning to get a small white gas camping lantern. The coleman ones are too large.

Let's split up is one of those things that you should never say or do in a horror story. It falls just behind saying "What could possibly go wrong?" and being attractive young people with healthy sex drives for things that will get you killed. I'm not sure even being main characters can save both of them now.

Does anyone else have a feeling that Pete has seen Cabin In The Woods recently?
It's good to see that Gwynn and Torg are completely in control and rational. What could go wrong?
Hehe. Perhaps I shouldn't say that.
But at least we can be confident that it can't possibly get any worse. I'm sure Torg and Gwynn will be coming right back.
Say, di-did you hear that? Is someone there? Hello?

You were doing so good, Torg. You're almost there.

I was thinking the same thing. Torg facing a horde of demons is still less likely to get angry than Torg with Gwynn. And Gwynn up against a bunch of Slenderman wannabes is still less anger-prone than Gwynn with Torg. Unless they are shoe-salesman Slenderman wannabes.
