I totally remembered Captain Hippity! I had it in the back of my head but couldn't for the life of me remember the storyline. Good that Pete provides links to these things. Wow. That was nine years ago. During Oceans Unmoving. Thinking back to where I was nine years ago.

"Look! Lightness in Stick City!" That phrase was awesome. I wonder what makes it so funny; perhaps because it sounds so dramatic, but a simple word is bent out of shape - but in a way that could be a real variation of the word.

About Science Guy's "Recommendation: Bazooka": http://www.sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/20051023

He looks strangely familiar.... If only he wasn't disguised with that cape....

And still cutting and pasting the same bazooka pose. (Not a criticism, I like that he is continuing the joke.)

It's Hippity and Bazooka Guy! Awesome!
When's the movie adaptation coming out? I can't wait.

Ah yes, the dark and dangerous streets of Stick City.

Frankly, I'm amazed this isn't all in black and white with only the odd dramatic splash of color.

I wonder what would happen if Bazooka Guy tried the Analysiser on a bus full of preschoolers. Y'know, to figure out how to fix their flat tire?

When all you've got is a hammer. . .

Gramm[e/a]r Gorilla needs to proofread his own lines before he goes gorilla on other people for sentence fragments.

He was Grammer Gorilla through 2005, then in 2007 he became Grammar gorilla. Pete never remembers how to spell his secondary characters, etc. e.g., Weaselo became Weaslo, the ship Barranca became the Baranca, Lara Kroft-Macaroni-and-Cheese became Lara Croft-Macaroni-and-Cheese, Hoggelrynth became Hoggelryth became Hogglerynth, Homnigrits became Homnygrits, Homogenize became Homogenized, Gandledorf became Gandeldorf, Feder became Fedder, Gennaro became Genarro... is it deadels or deadles?... ...shall I go on?

OK, so as the strip transcriber, who tries to make sure that all spellings will get a hit in NiftySearch, I think you hit just a teeny-tiny small sore spot. :-)

He should be Grammer Gorilla. It's funnier that way.

I agree with the angry gorilla, proper english is under attack and needs to be preserved.

"POUND Pound Pound lb." Heh.

Gramm[ae]r Gorilla would be terrible to fight. His gawd-awful grammar/spelling *burns*.
