What's up with Zoe's mouth? I can't parse it. The rest looks awesome!
Enjoying the stick figure filler, too.

Rocketman? Er, woman.
A possible small flaw is that those look like unfired cartridges coming out of the gun. Y'know, with the bullet still on the end of the cartridge.
That kind of thing seems to be a oddly common mistake in various media. One particularly egregious example that sticks in my mind is from the Stargate series -- a bunch of bullets shown in closeup being stopped by a character with mental powers obviously still have the cartridge attached to the bullet. Apparently the special effects folks thought machine guns use springs to fire the whole shell, or something.

Er... I just think Pete didn't draw them as defined as they could of been. They are all one color though, so I'm going with them being just the spent cartridge.

No, both the rocket pack and particularly the helmet look pretty WWII, so I think it's more dieselpunk, if anything along those lines. Pete, do what you need to to get the book out and be ready for your con. Bjorkea will still be there next week, and so will your readers. LB

I guess you shouldn't count the Toon bullets from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit," since they were meant to be an exception to human physics.

Thanks for the head's up, I managed to fix the cartridge error before going got press! but it was a 'time-permitting' fix that almost didn't make it. I am one exhausted cartoonist.
