Alive? Dead? Undead? Bookish? Demonic?

Marco is a plotting? Torg is a planning? Aylee is a pondering? Gwynn is a panicking?

Too rotund to fit through the door? A catastrophic wardrobe malfunction? Is there a glitch in the matrix?

Is Monday asking too many questions?

Ohh! That's really scary and unsettling. And from now on, Torg should bring his sword wherever he goes. Those tentacles are just begging for an improvised gardening tool.

Yay, first!

Aww, Marco has the most adorable pouty-monster-face. Shame about going full monster in the very next panel.

You girls always go for the bad guys! Makes me want to learn how to be a plant monster.

That's disappointing... No, not that's she's still alive. I was certain that she still was. It just that Pete went the obvious/expected route, and not something surprising.

Anyway...

Marco you idiot. You can't even remotely comprehend how much you just ?@$% screwed up.

He went the funny route. Never criticize the funny route.

It is surprising. It is only obvious because we have followed Sluggy for so long that the surprising is what we are looking out for. Though I don't think that's all readers, I think it's amplified among those who read the comments.

I'm quite relieved that Gwynn is still alive. (For now... =P)

Aww, Marco! Looks like somebody needs a happy spell... or a time out.

It may or may not have been expected, but I for one am seriously relieved. Gwynn's one of my favorites and I'm glad she still lives! For now!

Reserving judgement until she's through that door.

I can't help but feel like something more is going on. Pete is a master of misdirection.

Well, that might be true. It's just that my first thought on Friday was that Marco grabbed her. I was hoping it was something else.

But my idea was going to be funnier! First she would have to take her clothes off. Then...THE REST OF THIS SCENARIO HAS BEEN PURGED. Have a nice day.

Further twists notwithstanding, #eyeballs Pete /# I'm looking forward to the impending violence. Time for Torg to get his Fruit Ninja on, and maybe this time Gwynn can rack up a few kills too.
