Well, at least this time Torg realised his mistake before it came back to bite him.

Why are there asterisks in Gwynn's dialog? Those are what you use when you can't, y'know, actually bold and/or italicize your text.

Is that Marco? Is he making Gwynn trip or is he preventing her from confronting the bishop for her own sake?

Gwynn's right.. Torg is having too much fun. She remembers the humanity behind the remains.

I see nothing wrong with it. Poor Gwynn. Everything was fine until the local plant life had her tripping out.

Torg's had plenty of experience dealing with monsters and things that used to be human, and also of doing what he had to to protect those he loves and those still innocent. I doubt he's forgotten the lost humanity, he's just doing his usual don't-think-about-it-too-hard, so he can do what he needs to in the moment. Too bad he lost his sword, though. He might just have to start thinking. LB

How did (a) Gwynn completely miss that thing, (b) that thing snag Gwynn when they move so slowly, and (c) Torg drop his sword in mid-stride when he's holding more tightly to that than to anything else?
And yeah, I know the plot requires it.
But anyway, here comes the tension!

Can I just take a moment to salute the use of sound effects in Sluggy Freelance? While not the most inventive sound effect Pete's used, that "Twang" really sold that bit of slapstick.
