It's Friday, woohoo! Which may or may not be filler. Nope, not filler. It's some somewhat rushed art instead. ----- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote EACH day. [#104 +1 *606]

That's plan B?! *facepalm*
I hope plan C is solid as steel, because they'll need it to beat off the encroaching husks.

Oh. I see. That's what happened.
If I was to ever to get to colorizing this strip someday, I think I know what color I would make the flames right now. Which reminds me I really should get around and at least color the last three strips of the Toasted Marshmallows sub-chapter, since after that it mostly changes to the "serious story mode".

So the Bishop in the Woods is just a black creature? I thought his darkness earlier was because of him being in the shadow, but now it seems he just have a black colour.

Quote: So the Bishop in the Woods was just a black creature? I think in the flashback he was in the shadows a lot, but the dark color is because he's nastier, older and more rotten than Marco & Co. Most of the 70's zombies are also quite dark.

Interesting theory. I wonder when Marco switched over from regret-husk to full-on hassen.

I hope plan C is solid as steel, because they'll need it to beat off the encroaching husks. I totally seconded that facepalm. I mean, really, it's an E-Ville book and he expected it to cooperate and protect him? Didn't the rage-husk spell come out of that very book? Definitely time to start thinking, if the lack of oxygen will allow it! Gah! LB

Definitely time to start thinking, if the lack of oxygen will allow it! Gah! LB What? Really? I thought Plan B was brilliant, actually. From a character development standpoint, I don't see any problem with the book helping Gwynn and Torg. The one thing I do see as a flaw is that they didn't test to see what abilities the book has in this conflagration. We didn't see the book do much last time it was in flaming bird mode. Oh, and Pavod? Your comment made me laugh! Very nice!
