Aw, look at Monday giving Torg a welcoming hug. See how much Torg is blushing. That's so sweet. <3 ----- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote EACH day. [#102 +2 *17]

Ooh. What does this mean for Marco? Does this qualify as having seen his shadow?

I'd think killing Arabella (that's who Gwynn just "splort"ed, isn't it?) would have the opposite effect from what she's hoping for.

I'm confused, did Gwynn send the book to him? Did it go to him of its own will? Did Marco summon it? Was Gwynn trying to call it to her, but Marco snatched it out of the air?
It's kinda unclear.

It's kinda unclear. It looks to me like marco picked up the book and turned on the bishop. The way the fire is drawn it certainly does look like the book rocketed upwards though.

Lets hope Marco is still green enough to not catch on fire.

It's kinda unclear. The book was on the ground, and he picked it up. remember, yesterday, Torg put a match to it to get it on fire.

Ya. It looks like Marco let go of Torg, body-checked the Bishop to get HIM to let go of Torg, then picked up the (flaming!) book. Gwynn is probably wondering what he's going to do with it, and what it's going to do to him.
And hey, go Gwynn! Diamond eyes and all!

So did Gwynn learn how to focus that spell so it didn't hit Torg?

Gwynn can splort a badguy now without vocalizing a spell. That makes the flower childrens favorite attack less effective.
