Oh! Right, speed boots turn back on once the daisy head gets pruned. I was worried Gwynn's momentum would pile drive herself into something solid. Whew!

I'm still astonished that Gwynn (even with help) was able to run at full magic-boot speed, leap into the air when the magic stopped, fly on momentum, and successfully (in mid-flight) chop off the flower head.
And I'm surprised it actually seems to have killed CB. That was too easy for a major boss fight. Is Pete going to pull the rug out again?
