Welcome to the Alpha's & Beta's Show of Wordiness. Today's guest-wordy is the extremely polite Monday."Hello you sacks of dung. Today's word is, 'Astonishing'. I will now put that into a sentence for the morons in the audience:" 'It's astonishing that Torg's eyeballs don't fly out of his head every time he blinks.' Thank you Monday for that very informative word. Please check back tomorrow for our next exciting guest and word.----- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote EACH day. I don't think that would count as spec even. I'm pretty sure we're meant to assume that.

There is nothing else it could be excepted Fluxed. The question isn't was he fluxed, it's how was he fluxed? Because neither of these two Hereti Corp goons is carrying anything that looks like a Flux gun, unless I missed something. Guessing at how would qualify as spec, though. But every idea that is popping into my head has crazy scary implications.

He was fluxed from outside the building. You can see what looks like a brick facade on the edge of the hole.

The missing area looks like a cone pointed at the hereti-corp agents to me. If the ray came from outside the building more of the desk would be gone and the hole in the wall would be smaller. I was looking at their hands behind their backs, but we clearly saw them from behind a few days ago. It could also be a poorly drawn sphere. The gap on the desk is a bit off, but perspective and 3d shapes is hard, especially spheres. The agent's never handed him anything on panel though.

Reads as a sphere to me. And a pretty small one, too. I'm surprised his hands weren't left behind. They've been pretty (lucky?) thus far not to accidentally 'cut' anyone with these fluxes thus far. Just the landscape.

If I remember right, the DFA beam "intelligently" expands to include the entire body. Which is impressive considering how it's perfectly happy to cut objects in half. And yes, it looks like it came from the other side of the wall. gregnier wrote: shouldn't that be #Firstbleatwins? No, a bleat would have been limited to 8 characters...

Pete, no pressure, but Wednesday's my birthday, Precious -- so it'd be a great day for something awesome to happen
