Does Pete have the world's best memory, or does he take exhaustive notes about the content of every strip? The "Meet Tyler" reference takes us back to 2009, and there are often references and call backs to stuff that happened as far back as 1997.

I think I remember Pete saying once or twice that he does use NiftySearch to find these things.
