Truth is under no obligation to be expressed in a novel manner. We've just been subjected to two weeks of inconsequential side characters expositing at each other, followed by a perfunctory ZAPPO. Presumably this deck chair rearrangement will be relevant in an upcoming plotline, but I'm not seeing anything conveyed that couldn't have been much more efficiently expressed when the need arises with a throwaway flashback panel or two.
