Did you know that Yadsendew is just the reverse of Wednesday in every way? Strange but true. ----- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote EACH day. [#109 -0 *197]

The idea that it was not actually Jane talking did occur to me yesterday. Didn't post anything about it because of the no speculating rule. But I just thought it was Gwynn's own subconscience getting chatty, which is something I've seen pop up before in fiction. I did not expect the Bug. Gwynn was wise to keep that plant.

Of course as usual, it's something I didn't see coming.
So it would appear that the bug-containment is not as watertight as we thought. Gwynn may think she is "wise to" the bug's manipulation, but that is easy to say when he is being this overt about it. It's the small covert nudges that you have to be on the look out for.

Well THAT'S not good. Luckily, she brought along the magic-dispelling flower that can potentially turn the world into plant zombies oh wait

Using one potentially world-ending force to counter another. This is not good on all kinds of levels. I'm just thinking of Kenny, and wondering if this is going to escalate much the same way. The Bug has already proven he's a master manipulator. To me, it seems separating Gwynn from that plant will probably be trivial for him.

Dang. I had this as a second guess yesterday. Didn't bother posting it because I rarely visit the spec forum...
Well done, Pete. So where are we going now?

Definitely didn't see that twist coming. I definitely liked how the tilted head in panels 2 and five are reminiscent of the three eyes of K'Z'K (yes, I know that's not his name anymore.) It's also nice to finally see a little shift in Gwynn's character.
