The amount of reliance that the black ops have on Grab-all is similar to a Wikipedia "go-to". I wonder if they fully ditched their original black ops intel.

I know some people didn't like the OM stories, but I thought they were epic.

I'm unsure how I feel about the prospect of Oceans Unmoving 3. On one hand, it was one of my favorite stories of the whole comic. On the other hand, I kinda feel it ended in the perfect place. Revisiting it could sour that. Guess we'll see how it goes.

This might be similar to our feelings when we found out we were having a second child. How could we possibly love another one as much as we love the first?

As it turns out, that wasn't a problem -- and yeah, it's a completely different situation, so YMMV.

Oceans Unmoving was a great storyline, it just really lacked familiar characters and a connection to the overall sluggyverse.
Hopefully both things will be fixed in OU3 - at least the potential is there

Well, we've already made one connection to Crushestro -- and of course there's the whole Timeless Space connection now because of 4U City. This time around, things are probably going to look a whole lot more familiar.

Those were by far the least of the problems with OU, to the point that many didn't consider them problems at all. A good story is a good story, after all. No, the principle sins of OU were 1) the excruciating, seemingly-endless exposition, and 2) the pointlessly labyrinthine storytelling. Looking back, OU's plot was actually pretty straightforward, but bloody hell, it didn't feel like it. Pete actually confused himself a couple of times. OU was basically a triple-concentrated distillate of all his worst habits as a writer.

I've started a new thread in Sluggy Related since I feel the OM3 announcement has hijacked the reactions.
