Monday is sorry to say that it is not going to do what it promised. Now if only it could remember what it promised... ----- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote EACH day. [#96 -17 *41] I think we made it to #78 on Saturday if I remember.

It's 4am. Go to sleep Pete, you done good.
Also, have a Happy Birthday, and a Nap tomorrow (Aug. 4th). You know I'll stay a Defender to the bitter end.

Pete, you're apologizing for this? Really? This is more content than most web cartoonists put out in several days.
So you have a slow day full of recaps. We're fine. Get some rest and enjoy a (partial) summer day with your family.

Pete's note got me to check my Defender account. It expired in May! Is there any way to send out an email reminder or something?

Happy Birthday, Pete. Still loving your comic, even after all these years.

Happy birthday. And you seriously need to learn to take it easy, and work smarter. You know this comic could easily have been divided into two or even three strips without any complaints? If you posted this as three strips, you could have made us a surprise update Tuesday and still reduce your workload by having Wednesday done.

Happy Birthday, Pete! I've noticed that even though you've dropped to a MWF schedule, you still produce strips that are long enough for a week's worth of content. And you always try to end on a gag, which must get difficult when the storyline becomes more and more involved in drama. When the strip becomes more serious and plot-laden, perhaps this schedule suits the comic's pace better; instead of a gag-a-day, we get hefty chunks of story ending on a laugh, with a day of suspense between them.

Okay, panel 2 looks better, and what Brainbot says in panel 8 is improved, but what in the heck happened to panel 3? The original "blurry eyed" strip looked fine in panel 3. Now it looks like it has an ink smear down the left side and a pole/panel divider on the right side. Something doesn't seem right with it now.

Thanks for the head's up, Zill! When I fixed the panel I missed a crop and left a layer on that was supposed to be off. I've been having a "I feel stupid" kinda week! I appreciate you all looking out for me! And thanks for the b-day wishes everybody!
