Mon really dropped the ball with last year's celebration, but Tuesday will not let you down this year!

Let us rifle through the embarrassing pictures of when it was younger while we point and laugh, shall we?

Age 17: Gwynn gives Torg a good old fashioned beatboxing.

Age 16: Zoe punches Torg in the head.

Age 15: Kiki lose the gold due to Torg's poor training.

Age 14: Torg is not right in the head.

Age 13: Torg is on the train of the doomed.

Age 12: Torg misplaces Zhoas yet again.

Age 11: Losing his memory is the least of Torg's problems.

Age 10: Torg's head is Gwynn's crotch... um, moving along...

Age 9: Torg's Artistic License was revoked.

Age 8: The camel footprints in Torg's forehead take forever to disappear.

Age 7: Torg was deathly sick with some demon-flu.

Age 6: The diet Torg is on is too successful.

Age 5: Torg receives lacerations and a concussion.

Age 4: Torg crushes Gwynn with a spaceship.

Age 3: Underage Torg drinks too many Mai Tais.

Age 2: Torg's present to Kiki will haunt him for life.

Age 1: Torg loses his arm to a bizarre rabbit accident.

Birth: Torg is an ugly bug-eyed baby.

...

Wait, this is the wrong photo album. This is Torg's, not Sluggy's. Damn, I still messed it up...

Looks like we're all in. I'm loving all of this, and the dart juggling just makes it.

I've been reading Sluggy near-daily since 1998. This means as of this year I have been reading Sluggy now longer than any other series ever. I mean, I only had to wait freaking 16 years for Steven King to get his act together and finish Dark Tower. This is new territory...

It's been an amazing tale, Pete. Still here for the nifty!

Unfortunately, as a relevant detail to the current storyline, Sluggy is still a year too young to legally gamble in Canada.
Not that it won't try, like everyone else :P

Aylee seems to actually have a clue for once.

I know this has nothing to do with anything but today I feel strangely attracted to Aylee.

And people were saying that Aylee was left out and Pete had no plans for her. Never underestimate the Pete.

Aww, Kiki is so adorable. Gotta say, I'd hate to see the results of trying to teach Bun-Bun to hug! (Unless he's very drunk)

Aylee' s probably not scared. After all, Bun-Bun' s already cut off one of her arms; it grew back.

And I have been here for ten of those eighteen years; when I first started reading, Torg and Riff were digging a grave for a friend. I absolutely had to go back and figure out what was going on... It's been quite a ride.

I first caught up at around Dangerous Days ahead. Guess it's been about 13 years.

Also the numbers plus juggling really reminds me of this classic strip. http://sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/010130

What I posted to the Sluggy Facebook page: (Did you all know we have a Sluggy facebook page? Go like it)

Arrgh! I'm a day late, but HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY SLUGGY! That's simply incredible, we probably have some Sluggites out there who are younger than the comic. Some of us have read it almost daily for most of those years, some of us have gotten hooked more recently and some of us are old school Sluggites who still need to catch up on the current archives. Some of us just read it casually and some of us stay up till all hours of the night digging through archives and constructing theories. As grateful as I am to Pete for all his hard work and amazing storytelling through the years, I am equally grateful to all my fellow Sluggy fans for supporting Pete to keep going all these years. You are all NIFTY.

Oooooh, Torg said a swear word!

And we can't send him to his room anymore.
