Wednesday is going to nullify the gravity of the planet for a few minutes to run some tests. That's okay, right? I'm sure you'll never even notice. ----- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote EACH day. [#62 +14 *43] We're higher than xkcd right now. And...I don't think it will hold.

Panel six: The groan that was heard around the world...
Also in the same panel: The arrow from the speech-bubble that says "Percy?" is pointing to the wrong person.
And the one saying "Awesome!"...might be pointing to the wrong person as well. Seems more like something Riff would say. I think Aylee would more likely say, "Yay!"

The elephant in the room - that was awesome. I have never seen anyone make it an actual elephant before.
In his trunk. Also awesome. Great to see Percy again! That scary man-eating mammoth. The past thirteen years have been good to him, that seems like a shiny coat. Of hair.

Dang it I should have specced in writing that Percy was his contact because that was actually who I was thinking.

Percy was Aylee's friend from Cannibals Anonymous, of course she'll be more excited than anyone else. Riff is happy because Percy kept him and Torg from being eaten by Cannibals Anonymous, not sure Zoe ever really met him.

Aw heck yea, Percy is back son!
No clue why Zoe seems concerned though. If I remember correctly he saved her from a sniper.

No clue why Zoe seems concerned though. If I remember correctly he saved her from a sniper. She looks puzzled to me. Which would go with the speech-bubble "Percy? Yes she was saved from a sniper by Percy eating them, but she never knew. And Percy only did as a favor to Torg, so she would only know if he told her. Which I highly doubt.

Percy! Yeah!
At these points I always wonder whether Pete has planned this for the last n-teen years or whether he just remembers "wait, I still have that elephant-like mammal in my room; I can use this".
That line "I need you to address..." also was wonderful - it's one of the prime examples how Sluggy manages to slip in funny stuff even in serious storylines - without feeling too pushed, too random or too stupid-funny.
Regards,
TCC
