Today is the wonderful day of Tuesday... ...Which is not true by the way. It's just a regular day as always. Also I should commend you for going to all the trouble of reading this. Many would just think this is strange line. Though, I have found that whenever I do something that requires some effort/perception, nobody usually bothers and I end up talking to myself. But that's not surprising. I do that all the time. I never expect anyone to read what I write. The most important thing is the comic, not my inanity. Now if by some strange occurrence someone is reading this, I will reward you with the names of my cats: Marble, Kami, Kaos, & Blue. Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote EACH day. [#69 +1 *972]

Wonder what "compromised" means in this context. I don't think he was undercover.

It will be interesting to see Riff's reaction to Knight 2. Then we can see if it goes Knight goes to King 2.

Mark 22? Riff was working on the head of Mark 24. Both the head and the hand are too small for a Mark 19 style robot. Never mind, nothing to see here. These are not the droids you are looking for.

Zoe should do the 1920's look more often. She does it well.

Does he? I don't remember the name "Minion Master" ever coming up in DOR? I doubt Riff knows his real name (I'll take for granted here that RIff at least knows Izzy's last name, although I'm not sure if that was explicitly shown). In fact, Torg didn't know his real name until very recently: http://www.sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/150717Given the lack of communication and the fact that Riff's contact with Minion Master was much more limited than Torg's, it seems highly unlikely that Torg would have felt it necessary to tell Minion Master's name to Riff. He may not have even told him that he's dead.

Either Riff hasn't made the connection / hasn't been paying attention that "Minion Master's sister" = Izzy, or he is playing it very cool. With Riff, either possibility is likely.

I don't think Riff ever learned Izzy's brother's name in the DOR, did he? And there was no Minion Master there -- at least as far as he knew. Also, Riff has no idea that Izzy exists. I can't wait for this meeting (whenever it actually happens).
At first, I thought Zoe was referring to "see how Torg and Aylee make out" when she mentioned the pun. I imagine she would look about this upset if that were the case.
Sounds like things are escalating. Also, with that tattoo and fringe, Zoe's part flapper and part Pocahontas.

I think it means that Zark's efforts to hack Hereti-corp's DFA satellites have been detected and likely blocked as a consequence. As an aside, for some reason, Mark-24's head makes me think of Jeeves. I don't know why as the robot heads don't look alike.

Maybe it's just my blurred vision, but who's the person sitting at a screen next to Zark compromised?

I think it means that Zark's efforts to hack Hereti-corp's DFA satellites have been detected and likely blocked as a consequence. It means more than that. In a previous comic, it was mentioned that Zark's efforts to sabotage (or slow down) the DFA satellites was unsuccessful. Not only did he not succeed, but his location was probably traced, and a goon squad was undoubtedly dispatched to take care of the interloper. He's now "dark", which means that he's either on the run, captured, or dead. Hopefully the first, since it's probably not good to be sacrificing knights so early in the "game". CheeseWhisper wrote: And there was no Minion Master there -- at least as far as he knew. I think you said that wrong. I agree that Riff did not know Izzy's brother as "Minion Master", but the R&D wars occurred in both dimensions, and Izzy's bro was killed in DOR - undoubtedly playing "Minion Master" there. I'm actually kind of surprised that Torg hasn't put it together yet - I guess it depends on just how much Riff told them... Lord Golbez wrote: He may not have even told him that he's [Minion Master] dead. You say that as if it is fact. Such an occurrence has not been confirmed... That may be our wild card (oops, wrong game). Izzy was on the run, and could have easily avoided capture on her own. There is a reason that she sacrificed herself... ...Just sayin'...

Now I wonder why they are recruiting card-counters. ???
Note to Zillatain - love the cats! Does Kaos live up to the name?

Hey all! Yep, made a mistake. It WAS the Mark-24, not Mark-22. Fixed it! Also Riff has no idea that Kinght-1 is an alternate version of someone he met in 4U City. That reminds me, nifty sidenote. When Riff is telling Torg and Zoe about 4U City, Izzy's face is intentionally never seen, like she's barely part of the story that Riff tells. http://www.sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/20110908
