I'm guessing she's going to have a hard time accepting that Lysinda is dead.

I particularly like the last panel because I feel like I finally see the resemblance to how she looked back in '98.

Wow, she was staked to that wall for 17(!!!) years.

I just read through the raid on the vampire house to see exactly what happened to Lysinda. She is last seen being carried out to be "taken care of" by the sun. We don't see her final demise happen.

Ah, Sylvia, if you only knew what's in that bag.

I thought vampires needed to sleep in there own grave soil or home soil, not just Top Soil. :sam:

So, that's what 'Taking a dirt nap' really means.

In the Sluggyverse, different types of vampires have different rules. For example, Lysinda vamps can be de-staked while the ones that Muffin and Bat-Sam fought turned to dust on a single staking. I'm pretty sure we've seen Sam sleeping in non-native soil before, so Sylvia should be okay.

Sam mentions that vamps recover energy by sleeping in their native soil. It's unclear if he means Lysinda vamps specifically but that seems likely (How would he know about other kinds?). He doesn't say that they CAN'T sleep in non-native soil either, but they probably don't get as much or any of the said bonuses.

Yes, Lysinda vamps seem to follow virtually all of the classic vampire rules.
