Friday doesn't care what's it called. Though it does like being called "Your Evilness" at times ----- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote EACH day. [#71 +2 *662]

...it'd convince me!
[edit] By the way, it's barely related but did anyone else catch James Tayler on Colbert's late show? They did a hilarious bit involving Fire and Rain.

"Burritos" Not a bad entry by Daryl in the Last Words, Single Word Division. However, it does not measure up to Sam's entry, "Boobs". Still though, good for an Honorable Mention.

So John Lennon is The Babadook? Yodimus_Prime wrote: ...it'd convince me!

All I can think of is James Taylor in a turkey costume on SNL. Pavod wrote: "Burritos" Not a bad entry by Daryl in the Last Words, Single Word Division. Also, it occurred to me last night: what did the Strakoi want with Pierre? Was he to raise up a new circle of allies in Europe -- in which case there may already be a whole continent full of Lysinda-descended vampires?

Good plan. When someone asks for the impossible, go for the unexpected.

Do vampires like burritos?

Well,I think we've established that Daryl isn't particularly bright, so "burritos" was probably the best he could do.

I think we may be glimpsing Darryl's genius. If you get "enough air to speak one word" then a long word will get you more air than a short one. antidisestablishmentarianism would have been an even better choice, but "burrito" was a perfectly respectable word.

Considering that most people usually exhale when they speak, a long word would deplete your breath faster. Also I doubt Doc V would let Daryl inhale after speaking his one word. Of course we are assuming that Daryl's blazing intellect didn't confusing him so much that he forgot to clamp down again.

Interesting possible connection to Daryl's new friend. Monday 09/14/15Warning, While this is just pointing out a past strip, it could lead to spoilers and spec.
