Nope, Friday is not currently doing any testing. Though wade419 might be doing some testing if you know what I mean. ----- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote EACH day. [#120 +18 *126]

I love the "Brakka Brakka" of the automated sticks. I'm pretty sure, there has been some corresponding "Brakkiti Brakkiti Brakkiti" in the past but Riff's famous "100 stakes in a second" was more like "ThokThokThokThok".
Regards,
TCC

Urja is quick to save a minion. And Clara is really cool for no real reason.
The solution to this problem is simple. Just [do something that could be considered spec. -Z]

Nothing to chance, but he still couldn't prepare for a DFA blast. The brakka brakka may be the machine guns, but that's a bit unclear. endplanets wrote: The solution to this problem is simple. Regardless, it's likely that whatever solution they find this has done it's job in giving Dr. V enough time to get away.

Maybe it's Riff wearing off on me, but personally, I'm a sucker for a good explosive boobytrap.

Regards,
TCC The "Brakka Brakka" was the Machine Guns, his "anti-human" countermeasure and the reason why that one minion is covered in holes but still undead. Anyway, his countermeasure doesn't look like it would work on DFA technology. If he were "prepared for anything" one would expect him to have figured that one out, at least after losing his company to it.

But Urja doesn't know that.

I can't help but think that Clara really should be addressing Urja as either "Lady Urja" or "Mistress Urja" because Urja has probably been existing a long time, seems to be an important person and these are more "classical" terms of address. Of course, "Mistress Urja" can have rather different connotations, but its more archaic meaning would fit here.
My other thought is that Dr. V really has a nice set of computer game inspired obstacles to hinder pursuit.

The cloud of dust settling just below Clara's head when she pokes through the trapdoor to check is a nice touch.
I like Dr. V more and more with each strip.
