Aha! First the pencils and now this. He's a lignumancer! (Lignum being wood in Latin.)

The Vrykolakas fun fact about not being able to fly, but jump high and far reminds me of the Samurai Jack episode "Jack Learns to Jump Good"

Seems like the best action here. Faking escape, and instead just trying to eliminate the immediate threat entirely while the chance presents itself.

That is, doesn't he usually pronounce the letter "H" instead of turning it into an eastern European "W"? Also also, I've been meaning to ask this: what's with Urja's "boob bag" hanging from her neck?

Still have no idea why I should care who lives or dies here. I guess I'm rooting against the guy with the annoying dialect. If he dies we don't have to decipher what he's saying anymore.

Still have no idea why you bother, since you hate everything about the strip. Trolling is a pretty low-class form of entertainment. CheeseWhisper wrote: That is, doesn't he usually pronounce the letter "H" instead of turning it into an eastern European "W"? Yes -- he says "I HAD but uone request." I suspect he "meant" to say "harduood floors" ? I wondered about Urja's pouch too. But I prefer your "boob bag" terminology. :-)

Maybe Riff shouldn't have shot the messenger. He could fly---he was hovering. Dang, that vampires could fly was a huge point in their favor------and just HOW was Sam 'jumping' without legs?

Sam is the real cheese variety of vampire. These guys are the "cheeze" variety.
Also! I thought I recognized the name of the new guy playing Crow, but I just couldn't place it. Cool connection there!

Dr. V's obsession with protecting himself from vampires using wood makes me wonder whether Strakoi are vulnerable to stakes.
