Tuesday is never going to forgive you for what you are thinking about doing four years ago. The time machine is not supposed to be used for that next year. And no, winning the lottery simultaneously in all 24 districts in 2314 is probably not change my mind. ----- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote EACH day. [#131 +3 *255]

Finally, the "Boob bag" people have an answer. It's armor covering her heart so Urja can't be taken out the easy way.

The comic for 10/12/98 shows a vampire controlling his hand while it is ripped off his body. Of course, that was a Vryko-vamp

Well, that's a handful. How is he going to handle this?

AHHHHHHH So many splinters! She's handling that way better than I would have.
I hope Vistuvious lives up to his current wardrobe and is pulling a magician's trick with those hands. Otherwise, I think he's in trouble!

Eh. I don't see her wearing any armour on her back or her left armpit.
As for Doc V, I seem to recall that he doesn't need his hands to work his juju.

It seems as though Dr. V could have avoided this had he incorporated a little silver into his strategy. Pavod wrote: The comic for 10/12/98 shows a vampire controlling his hand while it is ripped off his body. Of course, that was a Vryko-vamp There were no Vryko vamps introduced in 98; surely you mean Vorpyr and are probably talking about one of the vampires Aylee dismembered. In which case, the use for a throwaway joke might make it less than fully canon. Especially since looking at it, I don't see how it "shows" the hand being controlled. The vampire only says the hand is flipping them off.

Did Dr. V really get overconfident right now, or is he still just playing her?
Also, how does one cup protect her heart from stakes flying at her from every direction? And how do those fragments -- which didn't even embed more than a few millimeters into her flesh -- penetrate far enough to reach hearts?
Not to mention -- those must be some killer daggers to go through all that bone.

Now that is one "BAD A$$" Vamp. Can someone give the Doc a hand there?

Oooh snap. Don't think Dr. V planned for that. Pavod wrote: And she didn't think to equip her minions with it? Typical management, cheeping out on safety gear. The minions need a union. Minions are easy kills. I don't think it would have helped them. Masters have to be stabbed through the heart -- remember Arminius stabbed Philinnon but missed her heart. Now why Philinnon wasn't smart enough to wear a boob-bag, errr, heart-armor, is another question...

cool factor getting higher.
Now why would someone so smart with lots of pre-emptive planning for alternate situations stand so close to a trapped and wounded animal without trying to defend himself? Looks pretty uncharacteristic.
I expect something cool again tomorrow. Looks like there's a new favourite character in the sluggyverse.
