Monday just wanted to let you know that there's under one million seconds until Christmas. So you had better hurry if that means something to you. Otherwise you may just ignore this. ----- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote EACH day. [#126 +1 *463]

That was quick. I was half expecting the last panel to not come until Friday's comic.

If it really had been Lysinda, any bets on Daryl's chances not to be offered up as her breakfast?

Ah, Sam. His last word was "Boobs," and his first words are "Hey babe!" I don't think it's spec to say Sylvia is gonna be seriously pissed. Not only is it not Lysinda, but it's **Sam**.

Poor Sylvia. All her hard work and she is thusly rewarded.

And Sylvia's decent into madness begins. On a sidetrack, I believe this ends the longest installment is the Sluggyverse without any of the main characters.

And there's that misplaced sympathy again. At least we already knew that this "reveal" was coming.
Has it ever been explained just what it takes to be a Queen? Would this make Sam a vampire King?

Has it ever been explained just what it takes to be a Queen? Would this make Sam a vampire King? Not that I'm aware of. Probably has something to do with using/consuming the blood of numerous vorpyr subjects, since they just implied it could be done if there were (probably a lot) more than 2, and it's always the blood.

I think I'm really confused.
Dr. V. was working behind the scenes to eliminate the Lysinda Circle? But handed over the actual vial of her blood for use in reviving one of them?
Was his plan really for them to have followed Sylvia back? Wouldn't some non-functional substitute vial have worked just as well for that purpose and pose even less risk to that end?
I guess I'm just confused that he actually helped them according to his own stated goals.
