If she had a kid when she was a vampire it could have been written as being closer in time.

Aww, Urja just misses all her little bubs!
Kinda figured that. I doubt sluggyverse vampires can have babies. There's been no evidence of that to date. Only talk of converting humans through bitey methods.

Well. Major suck to be in that family (and another question answered). The un-red eye was (yet another) mistake, but THAT one I fixed! ;)
Thanks for all the feedback, I'm tending to agree with most of the criticisms, but I'll keep doing my best!
And when it comes to the question of "how far back did I have this planned" the answer is WAY back, but I can't be more specific until this chapter is done.
