Believe the niftiness! Worship the comic!
I didn't see that coming about the blood, that's a good explanation. But how sad to see Minion Master go this way. He never got a break in life.

Adios, Minion Master. We hardly knew you. endplanets wrote: And what will Sam have to say about MM not being able to control his vampire-y-ness? After all, Sam went to great length to protect his friends even though his powerful master could control/read him. And when Sam could break free from control he wasn't a monster (those innocent civvies he killed in the extended comics don't count). Sam had nothing to read up top. His saving point. I assume that made him harder to control, but I think vryko vamp types have stronger in-group mind control. Urja can always see what her minions see (unless distracted). Sam's ex-boss lady couldn't do that.

Marcus wrote: Saw that coming since Ant was revealed to be a vampire. But the see it coming doesnt matter, still awesome, still going to be mad to see what happens next :D Yes, and yes. I didn't expect this to be the Friday cliffhanger, but it makes sense that he'd put it here. I've been waiting for these two to meet -- and like you said, it was obvious ever since Anthony took off his mask here. But dang, what drama. And that guy's story is so sad. The blood thing makes sense, especially considering what we know about the importance of certain blood on the vorpyr side. I wonder if Urja is trying to eclipse Philinnon. I never thought I'd be so eager for Monday to come.

I'm interested to see how Sylvia will react to the Vampire Hunter who staked her to a wall once before showing up with another stake gun.

LadyBlanc wrote: P.S. I doubt Sylvia is glad to see either of THOSE guys. Considering that Sylvia is paralyzed on the floor, beside an armed bomb, waiting for Urja to get around to killing her, I doubt she sees much of a change in her situation. Lord Golbez wrote: Nice. Now they just have to get out of there before the very dangerous (either way) victor of the battle outside comes inside. Oh and convince Sam that Sylvia needs to be redead. I would hope that as much time and trouble put into unstaking Sylvia that they don't just restake her.

Ya know, on Ant's spiking, You'd have thought that all that paste would have held things together better than that.
