The very first impression he made was that he killed her brother and saved her life. Or at least he saved her from being turned into a monster. Saving a damsel in distress is the traditional way of getting her interested, isn't it?

What can I say. I'm a sucker for romance.
I love how Riff is comforted by Torg's words even though other-Izzy explicitly says that her Riff used to run the wrong way, too.
Sounds to me like they're a match made in heaven. (I swear this is not spec!!!! just reactions!!! it's not spec if everybody knows it!)

Oh this strip gave me the biggest grin! I actually got yelled at by my roommates for laughing so loud! I love how Torg's basically insulting Riff and it's comforting him. No way she'll marry you dude, you were a cowardly neanderthal! And Riff's like oh thanks man! GOLD! Though her first-first impression of him was rather bad ass! Him saving her and "we don't run from vampires we fight!"
